Northern Rivers Conservatorium Chamber Strings win 1st place at Eisteddfod

The Northern Rivers Conservatorium’s String Ensembles have played themselves proud today at the Lismore Eisteddfod, winning two 1st places and a 2nd place.

The Chamber Strings took out first place in the String Ensemble category for 4 or more players, performing Three Slavonic Dances by Dvorak and a Cha Cha Cha by David Stone.

The Chamber Strings, for 16 years and under, also played beautifully and won first place in their category.

To add to this success, the Junior Strings took out 2nd place in the category of a String Ensemble, for 12 years and under, performing Miniature Symphony.

What a wonderful achievement!! Congratulations to our talented and committed performers and their tutors.

The Lismore Eisteddfod is presented annually by the Lismore Musical Festival Society.
