No stage fright for young stars
JAYDEN Whittle was the only boy to belt out a tune in his junior choir class, but that didn’t faze the nine-year-old as the 99th annual Lismore Eisteddfod began at Lismore Workers Club yesterday.
The St Carthages, Lismore student was well supported by more than 240 students putting on their versions of songs ranging from Row, Row, Row Your Boat to Blame it on the Boogie.
“It’s good fun and I don’t mind being up on stage because I’ve done poetry before,” Jayden said.
“We just finished and I think we went pretty well.”
