Have you noticed the exciting new addition to all the Lismore Eisteddfod competitions? Look over there. Now back to me.

This year we have included All Abilities Sections. 

These sections are intended to celebrate all abilities and diversity in our community through speech and dramatic performance, vocal, instrumental and dance performances.

The sections are for participation only.

Performers will receive an adjudication comment 

The sections are open to performers who have:

• a visual impairment
• a hearing impairment
• communication challenges
• a learning or cognitive disability
• a mental health or emotional challenge
• limited mobility

The Awesome Sections

• Schools Competitions – School aged choirs, instrumental and dance groups.
• Speech and Drama Competition – Solo sections in verse speaking, writing and reading own prose or poem, and dramatic performance
• Dance Competition – Dance solos
• Vocal and Instrumental Competitions – Solo vocal/instrumental sections for children and adults
