Announcing 2023 Prizes and Awards

Lismore Eisteddfod has two exciting announcements. For the first time, Lismore Eisteddfod will be awarding money prizes for our performers, and thanks to our generous sponsors we also have four special awards this year.

Money Prizes

A money prize and certificate will be awarded for first place in sections for competitors 13 years and over. Senior, Intermediate and Junior Championships will receive money prizes for first, second and third place.

NOTE

  • Competitors in sections for 12 years and under will receive trophy, medal and certificate prizes.
  • Troupes will receive a trophy for first place.
  • Competitors in All Abilities Sections will receive an adjudication comment as the sections are for participation only.

Special Awards

Thelma Graeme Perpetual Award

Perpetual trophy and $500 for voice advancement and/or tuition only. Awarded to a female singer 16 years and over for excellence in Classical or semi-Classical voice.

Planet Music Encouragement Award

$150 voucher for an instrumentalist, awarded at the adjudicator’s discretion.

Resonator Music Award

A $300 Resonator Music voucher for an outstanding performance by either a primary of secondary school will be awarded at the adjudicator’s discretion.

Schools Encouragement Awards

A $100 encouragement prize for a primary school and a secondary school, awarded at the adjudicator’s discretion.
